Issued by the Mori Memorial Foundation in Japan, the index evaluates major cities worldwide based on six main categories: economy, research and development, cultural interaction, liveability, environment, and accessibility.
The GPCI basically evaluates the city's ability to attract people, businesses, and capital. It is able to grasp the strengths, weaknesses, and challenges of global cities in a continuously changing world.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai stated in a tweet that cleanliness is a crucial aspect of civilization, culture, and faith.
HH Sheikh Mohammed also expressed his commitment to keeping the city safe, stable, and prosperous.
