Emaar Properties has announced a significant Dh1.5 billion expansion of Dubai Mall, set to enhance the already vast shopping destination. This expansion will introduce 240 new luxury stores and food and beverage outlets.

Expansion Details
The contractor for this large-scale project is already mobilizing on-site. The expansion aims to bolster Dubai Mall's status as a premier global shopping destination.
Official Statement
Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, commented on the project, stating, "The new Dubai Mall expansion is a significant addition to one of the most visited sites in the world. It aligns with Dubai’s vision to remain at the forefront of global innovation and culture, strengthening our city's position as a top global destination."
Record-Breaking Attendance
In 2023, Dubai Mall became the most visited place on Earth, recording 105 million visitors, a 19% increase from the previous year. Currently, Dubai Mall is the world's second-largest shopping mall, covering 1.2 million square meters and featuring over 1,200 retail outlets.
