Record-Breaking Bids
The auction was a massive hit, showcasing the allure of unique license plates in Dubai. The standout of the event was plate number AA17, which fetched a staggering AED 8.02 million—the highest bid of the day. Other notable sales included:
- Y1000: AED 4.55 million

Commitment to Fairness
The RTA ensures that its public and electronic auctions are conducted with a rigorous strategy that emphasizes neutrality, transparency, and equitable access. This meticulous planning makes it easier for participants to engage in the auction process. Many buyers are drawn to these unique plates not just for their monetary value but also for the personal connections and aspirations they represent.
Whether it's a token of luxury, a symbol of a significant life event, or simply a unique identifier, Dubai’s license plates continue to captivate the attention of buyers around the world. The recent auction is a testament to the city's status as a hub for luxury and innovation, with the RTA leading the way in making unique vehicle identifiers a hot commodity.
