Dubai has launched the global competition 'Home of The Future', calling for designers to submit their plans for an ultra-affordable futuristic home.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that the continuous urban development witnessed by Dubai and its urban and engineering landmarks provide the citizens and residents of the emirate with a modern and upscale lifestyle.

Architects and designers compete to design models for smart homes of the future that fit the needs of future generations.
Registration will open on April 25th through the website and will continue until next September.

The winners will be announced next November during a ceremony.
The winner will receive AED 500,000 while the runner-up will receive AED 200,000 and second runner-up AED 100,000.
