Dubai has just rolled out the nol Student Package, a new initiative that provides students with exciting benefits. This package offers a 50% discount on public transport services and up to 70% off at various local and international brands. The goal is to make daily travel and shopping more affordable for students living in the UAE, particularly in Dubai.

Details of the Package

Unveiled by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at GITEX Global, the nol Student Package is a collaboration with the International Student Identity Card Association (ISCI). This program aims to enhance the daily commuting experience for students using RTA’s transport options, including the metro, tram, buses, and marine transport.

In addition to transport savings, students can use the nol card for payments at numerous retail stores throughout the country.

Personalized Identification

As part of this initiative, students will receive a personalized international student identification card that is linked to their nol card. Interested students can request this card through the nol Pay app, which will then be delivered directly to their specified address.

Future Features for Parents

Later this year, the nol Student Card will be upgraded to include features that allow parents to manage their children's accounts. This will enable parents to top up balances and set spending limits, providing an added layer of control over their children's finances.

The launch of the nol Student Package follows a partnership agreement signed with ISCI during the Middle East and North Africa Transport Congress and Exhibition held in February. This new offering aims to support students in Dubai and improve their overall experience in public transport and shopping.
