Dubai Islands Beach is set to host the Woofstock Festival, an exclusive dog-focused event scheduled for Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19. The festival is an opportunity for pet enthusiasts and their four-legged companions to engage in a range of dog-specific activities, from workshops to entertainment, all set against the backdrop of Dubai Islands Beach, a popular dog-friendly destination that welcomed pets earlier this year.
Attendees can anticipate a day filled with various activities suitable for dogs, including off-leash areas, dog-friendly water sports, and open spaces for pets to roam and socialize. Additionally, the festival offers a dedicated zone for children featuring inflatables, face painting, arts & crafts, creating a family-friendly atmosphere. Rescue organizations present at the event aim to guide potential adopters through the process, offering an opportunity for those interested in welcoming a furry friend into their homes.
The festival will run from 8 am to 10 pm, with an assessment fee of Dhs50 required for entry. It's worth noting that 50% of this fee will go toward supporting rescue organizations aiding animals in need. However, the event organizers maintain strict safety standards, reserving the right to deny entry to dogs or humans who may pose any safety risks to the environment.
