Dubai Is One of the World’s Least Congested Cities: Report

Dubai is one of the least congested cities in the world, according to a report by satnav firm TomTom.

According to the 2022 traffic index study by the multinational company specialized in tracking traffic and congestion throughout the world, Dubai achieved remarkable rankings in the traffic flow index.
The analysis covered more than 543 billion kilometers (Km) of road networks in 390 cities located across 56 nations on six continents.
In terms of the average time required to drive a distance of 10 km in the Central Business District (CBD), Dubai surpassed large international cities such as Los Angeles, Montreal, Sydney, Berlin, Rome, and Milan.

In comparison to the average of 21 minutes every 10 km in the mentioned cities, Dubai's journey time was measured at 12 minutes per 10 km.
Almere, a city in the Netherlands, had the highest performance on this index with a time of 8 minutes per 10 Km, while London had the worst performance with a time of 36 minutes per 10 Km.
