Dubai Hotel Revenues to Record a 22% Growth

The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai revealed, in recent reports, strong performance rates in various indicators of the hotel market, including occupancy, revenue, daily price, and hotel market size between the beginning of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.
The average return on rooms exceeded pre-pandemic levels, reaching AED 364, during the first eight months of this year, compared to AED 299 in the same period in 2019, with a growth rate of about 22%.
The average hotel occupancy in Dubai in the period from January to August 2022 was 71%, compared to 61% in the same period in 2021.
It is noteworthy that Dubai succeeded in attracting 9.1 million international visitors between January and August 2022, compared to 3.2 million in the same period last year, an increase of more than 184%.
