Dubai government employees will receive their June salaries earlier than usual to prepare for Eid Al Adha 2024. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, issued a directive on Thursday to ensure all government staff are paid on June 13.

Moon Sighting and Religious Observances
In related news, Saudi Arabia's Moon-sighting committee confirmed the sighting of the crescent moon last night, marking the start of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. The Hajj pilgrimage begins today, June 7, and the first day of Eid Al-Adha is set for June 16.
