The fourth edition of Dubai's annual Gov Games is kicking off from March 2nd until the 5th, featuring a new category called 'Battle of the Cities'.
Teams from 28 major cities will compete to win the global Gov Games title.
The friendly competition also features two other categories for government and community competitions.
The competition is are all about teamwork and overcoming a series of physical and mental challenges together.
The initiative was launched in 2018 by Dubai's Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, as a first-of-its-kind government competition to promote creative collaboration and reinforce team spirit among government employees.

"Introducing the ‘Battle of the Cities’ as an additional category at the Gov Games reflects the support extended by the Dubai leadership to expand the event globally and provide opportunities for teams from across the world to compete," said Marwan bin Essa, Director of Gov Games.
