An employee at a store in Karama, Dubai, is suspected of robbing his manager's apartment of gold jewelry and other valuables.

The employee made a copy of the apartment key and entered the manager's home while the manager was on vacation.

The manager's house was broken into, along with his passport, according to an Arabic daily published in the United Arab Emirates. The gold jewelry was estimated to be worth Dh80,000.

The burglar hid the taken goods in his friend's home before fleeing the nation, allegedly informing him that the items were stolen.

The victim's son filed a police report after realizing that a robbery had occurred. The thief's friend was then detained by the police, along with the items stolen.

Both parties are currently dealing with legal consequences, with the thief receiving his term in absentia and his accomplice appearing in court.

The occurrence, in the opinion of the authorities, emphasizes the significance of maintaining security measures and integrity, especially in reputable workplaces.
