Dubai Airport to Invest AED 6bn to AED 10bn in its Expansion

Dubai International Airport will invest in its expansion, which will include new lounges and extra space to increase passenger capacity.
Dubai Airports' CEO Paul Griffiths shared that the investment for the expansion of DXB will be between six billion dirhams to ten million dirhams for the upcoming five to seven years.
The expansion will also include increasing the number of check-in desks, integrating more security scanners, and introducing smart technology across all airport operations.
DXB will also have new restaurant and commercial partnerships and a new circulation space.
The expansion will help to airport to grow to its maximum capacity over the next 10 to 15 years.
Once the airport reaches maximum capacity, operations will expand to Dubai's Maktoum International Airport.
