This Diwali season, Dubai is set to dazzle residents and visitors with an exciting lineup of festivities and entertainment. From October 25 to November 7, 2024, the city will come alive with the vibrant celebrations of the Festival of Lights. 1. Fireworks to Light Up the Night Sky

The fireworks will kick off at 9 PM on October 25-26 at Al Seef, followed by another round at 9 PM on November 1-2 at Global Village. Be sure to grab a good spot for an incredible view!

Kicking off the celebrations, Al Seef will host the Noor - Festival of Lights from October 25-27. This free cultural fair, curated by TeamWork Arts, promises stunning lights, artistic performances, interactive experiences, and Diwali-themed décor. Events include puppet processions, theater shows, poetry recitals, musical performances, painting and design workshops, and a chance to savor traditional Indian delicacies. With the festival spread across a 1.8-kilometre promenade, visitors can also explore Al Seef’s traditional souk, restaurants, and boutiques.

5. Musical Highlights

For music lovers, the Unforgettables concert series will run at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School until October 26. This series pays tribute to the legendary Jagjit Singh, featuring his disciple Tauseef Akhtar.

Another must-see is Meera: Echoes of Love, a production celebrating women’s strength and love, set for October 26 at Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park. With 70 local artists involved, this enchanting performance combines dance, theatre, and music to create a captivating experience.

6. Deepavali Utsav and Shopping Extravaganza

On October 26, the Deepavali Utsav 2024 at Etisalat Academy will feature traditional games, folk dances, a funfair, and delicious food stalls. It’s a perfect way to immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of Diwali.
