Diversion Placed on Sheikh Zayed Road After Flooding

A diversion was put in place at the flooded part of Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road after the emirate experienced heavy rain on Monday, Feb. 12.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have requested motorists to use alternative routes since the diversion is placed at the stretch of the road that leads to Jebel Ali.
RTA teams are working at the stretch of the road to solve this issue of flooding.
Motorists who are travelling to Abu Dhabi are requested to use the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Emirates Road.
People who are travelling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai are requested to take Seih Shuaib Street, towards Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road, and Emirates Road.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai ordered all private schools, nurseries, and universities to switch to distance learning on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
Government sector employees in Dubai also have a remote working day on Tuesday, Feb. 13, while the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation called for the private sector to implement flexible working patterns for private sector employees.
Companies that require outdoor work from their employees, these institutions need to ensure the safety of these employees.
It is expected that there will be an increase in temperatures on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
