Saudi Arabia's French national team coach, Hervé Renard, considered that it would be difficult for the Saudi national team captain, Salman Al-Faraj, to participate in the remaining matches in the current World Cup finals, after achieving the historic victory over Argentina 2-1 on Tuesday in the Qatar 2022 World Cup in football.
"It will be difficult for Salman Al-Faraj to play another match in this tournament," Renard said in the press conference.
The 33-year-old veteran is considered one of the pillars of the Saudi national team, and he overcame a shoulder injury he suffered recently to participate in the strong confrontation against Argentina, but he suffered a knee injury after half an hour, then he was treated and completed the match, then fell to the ground in stoppage time in the first half to be replaced by Nawaf Al-Abed.
