British Athlete Runs Across 7 Emirates in 6 Days for Charity
Running a marathon is tough, but running 630 kilometers across all seven emirates? That’s next level! British endurance athlete Harry Amos just completed this incredible challenge, breaking records and taking his followers along for the ride.
A Historic Achievement
Amos made history by finishing the run in five days, 21 hours, and 30 minutes, beating the previous record by over an hour. That’s not just impressive - it’s a world record.
His journey began in Fujairah on Sunday, and after pushing through exhaustion and minimal sleep, he crossed the finish line at the UAE-Saudi border early Thursday morning at 1:30 AM. Only two people before him had ever completed this grueling challenge, making his accomplishment even more remarkable.
Backed by a Strong Support Team
Running across an entire country isn’t something you do alone. Amos had sponsorship support from Spinneys and M42, along with a dedicated medical team from Healthpoint Hospital and Mubadala Health Dubai ensuring his safety along the way.
Fans followed his journey online, witnessing every high and low—celebrating his victories, feeling his struggles, and seeing firsthand what it takes to push past the limits of endurance.
Running for a Greater Purpose
Amos wasn’t just running for himself. His goal was to raise AED 50,000 ($13,615) for the International Diabetes Federation, helping support diabetes care in the UAE.
From intense heat to sheer perseverance, this run was more than just a test of endurance—it was a display of unbreakable determination. Harry Amos didn’t just run across the UAE; he made history doing it.
