Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 23 November 2022: Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever Taste of Ireland event in the region, inviting guests to indulge in the finest selection of sustainably produced Irish meat, dairy, seafood and beverages. Taking place from Monday 5th until Sunday 11th December, Taste of Ireland will offer guests the opportunity to savour Irish flavours with specially curated menus at participating dining outlets across the city. Taste of Ireland will be celebrated at The Maine, REIF Kushiyaki, Dar Wasl Mall, The Meat Co. and McCafferty’s, Wafi City.

The debut of Taste of Ireland promises to transport guests to the Emerald Isle through flavourful menus created by a collective of chefs from the participating outlets, that are set to indulge all guests’ palettes. The limited-time menus will consist of a vast variety of Irish produce, including various cuts of premium dry-aged beef, fresh seafood, delicate cheeseboards and signature whiskey cocktails to name a few. All dishes sampled throughout the Taste of Ireland event are created using fresh Irish ingredients, produced in harmony with nature and ethically sourced.

Chef Saradhi Dakara, Group Executive Chef of The Maine, has curated bespoke special dishes using the finest Irish beef, seafood and cheeses, while the newly opened McCafferty’s, Wafi City will offer a 3-course set menu bursting with favourites including Clonakilty Pork, Shannon Vale Chicken and Chicken Kiev for just AED150 per person. Chef Reif Othman of REIF Kushiyaki, carefully has designed an array of dishes in his unique style on a set menu for guests to indulge in throughout the week-long event. Last, but by no means least, The Meat Co. will offer an alluring range of succulent Irish steaks, oysters and farmhouse cheese, catering to all tastes. 

Whether patrons are seeking a tender grass-fed, dry aged steak bursting with flavours, velvety-smooth oysters fresh from the Atlantic Ocean, the finest selection of alluring cheeseboards and quality Irish food paired with premium whiskey and gin based, drinks, Taste of Ireland is an event not to be missed.

Taste of Ireland 2022 will be celebrated from 5th – 11th December at The Maine, REIF Kushiyaki, Dar Wasl Mall, The Meat Co. and McCafferty’s, Wafi City in partnership with Bord Bia. With dishes catering to all palettes, there never has been a better time to explore the fresh flavours of Ireland at this week-long event in December.
