Kuwait's Ministry of Health has taken action after a video went viral on social media showing a literal child receiving a lip filler injection at a beauty clinic. The video, posted by Kuwaiti blogger Sarah Al Kandari on Snapchat, sparked an outrage and led to extreme backlash.

In the viral video, Al Kandari is seen discussing her visit to the clinic with her young daughter, where the cosmetic procedure known as "French lips" was performed on her. She shared before-and-after videos of her daughter's lips, revealing that this was the second time the procedure had been done on her child.

However, after facing widespread criticism, Al Kandari later released a video denying that her child had undergone plastic surgery. She clarified that it was her 19-year-old sister who had received the lip filler treatment, not her young daughter.

In response to the controversy, the Ministry of Health closed the clinic and suspended the doctor involved. They have also referred the case to the Medical Responsibility Authority to investigate the alleged cosmetic procedure on a child.
