Synopsis:- What a luxurious time Barbie and Ken are swimming in by enjoying their lives to the fullest in the dazzling and glittering pink atmosphere of Barbie Land. Circumstances become extremely comical when they leave Barbie Land and step into the real world, where on the one hand, they digest the joys of being here while at the same time burping out all the challenges and problems that they encounter by dealing with humans. Beware, the burps can get frightening!

Review: – Every day, our society takes considerable measures to construct barriers between boys and girls based on their clothing, lifestyle, preferences on colour, games, and even movies. However, the release of Barbie in 2023 becomes successful in sweeping most of these barriers away as boys and girls alike stroll to the movie theaters in anticipation of seeing the comical drama that this humorous movie presents to its audience. Barbie marks a significant landmark in history by eradicating the wall of illusions restricting boys and girls to specific roles and passions catering to each gender. It is one of the rare movies whose content evokes innocence from within all of us. Categorizing it as a feminine movie would be unhealthy. The inspirational acting performed by every character and the creativity in setting the film background makes this movie worth a million appreciation. The chemistry between Barbie and Ken serves as medicine for the youth who take so much stress and anxiety from relationships by hardly sparing a moment to act silly with each other. This attitude becomes evident when we see how they never lose their spirits despite Barbie getting kicked out of Barbie Land and how they keep their habit of laughing together despite the challenges they encounter in the real world. Ultimately, their positive attitude helps them both reach wonders in their journey of self-discovery.

Unfortunately, it is tragic to see that in some parts of the world, especially in Asian countries, people associate Barbie with the feminine trait and consider it abnormal if boys start developing an interest in ideas linked to femininity. Many demean boys if they develop an interest in the color pink or become deeply passionate about fantasy. This film reflects on the social barriers that still exist in various places, with people associating this movie as childish or girlish without even knowing the plot. This film performs a beautiful task in revealing the secret message that social barriers become misleading as the concept of Barbie  is not just limited to appearances and fashion but way beyond that. It is linked to the struggles of Margot Robbie depicting the reality of life. Still, interestingly, we cannot detect the seriousness due to Margot’s cheerful attitude that makes this film a comedy. Barbie is challenging society to change its point of view by constructing an inspirational story for all age groups and teaching us that we have the willpower to change the plot of our life through our actions. All praises for this film seem small in front of the director’s ingenious innovation to create lots of hidden meaning behind this comedy.

Barbie portrays excellent cinematography skills with the color pink, painting everything in an atmosphere of love and affection. Barbie Soundtrack also energizes the inner child hiding in the soul and motivates him to jump out. It is not surprising that this movie has become a therapy for adults to regain their child-like playfulness and silliness that has been lost in the perils of life.

So, if you have yet to watch Barbie , you are in for a treat!
