The American rapper behind 'Hind's Hall', Macklemore has cancelled his upcoming concert in Dubai on Oct. 4 in Coca-Cola Arena.
Macklemore has originally been scheduled to perform at the same venue in October 2023.
Ticketholders received the news from Platinumlist on Friday, Aug. 23. The event organizers have announced that all purchases will be automatically refunded in 21 working days.
The event has also been removed from the Coca-Cola Arena website. The performer has not addressed the cancellation yet, so no reason has been provided for the concert's cancellation.
Macklemore's pro-Palestinian song 'Hind's Hall' garnered him global fandom when he released the song. The song is named after Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed in Gaza while waiting for an ambulance.
During the student protests on US university campuses, pro-Palestinian activists renamed the Hamilton Hall at Columbia University Hind's Hall.
The cancellation of Macklemore's concert in Dubai will leave many fans disappointed.
