Russia borders Ukraine on the eastern side, Belarus on the northern side, Azov and the Black Sea to the south, Romania and Moldova to the southwest, and Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland to the west.

Because of the excellent climate and exceptional rich juicy soil that is perfect for agriculture, the country's output became grains potatoes and is one of the highest in Europe in terms of exports of those products and sunflower oil. Sugar beets are because the soil is known as black soil.
Ukraine also produces wheat, barley, corn, rye, buckwheat, mustard, flax, poppy seeds, tomatoes, and peppers.
Fishing is also really popular there, with the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea being next to Ukraine; however, the fish production is not that high because of all the pollution.
Ukraine is rich in minerals and iron ores, it also has natural gas and petroleum, but Ukraine depends on fossil fuels and nuclear power for the energy it needs to run the country.
