Ajman Police arrested three men within 12 hours for stealing gold jewellery worth AED 1.1 million and AED 40,000 in cash.

The Ajman Police had received a theft report from a gold shop at their operations room after which they immediately formed an investigation team.

When the team arrived at the theft scene, they realized that the alarm bell did not go off, which delayed their response.

The three Arab suspects were on the run changing their clothes and donning masks, but the authorities were finally able to nab them.

They have been identified as A.G., T.D., and S.A.

A.G. was arrested with the help of the Sharjah Police. T.D. was arrested in Rumaila, Ajman, while S.A., who planned and led the robbery, was found in the industrial area of Ajman.

All suspects admitted to committing the robbery of the gold jewellery and the cash, which was found with them.

They will be referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
