Her brother Kevin Pereira shared an Instagram video, where he is seen reuniting with his sister at the airport as the siblings hug.
She is also shown hugging her parents and shedding a few tears of happiness.
In the caption, her brother wrote, "Chrisann is finally back & reunited with us ❤️ I know I had announced in June that she would be back but it took slightly longer and she’s finally back."
Chrisann Pereira shared that she was happy to be home and she hoped to return to the UAE someday in the future for work or leisure.
The actress was deceived into carrying drugs in a trophy by some fake talent scouts to the UAE in April.
She was arrested when two plastic bags containing 41.7 grams of cannabis, hemp resin, hemp extract and poppy seeds were found on her.
Pereira remained imprisoned for 25 days in Sharjah until she was released on bail.
In June, Sharjah's prosecution order cleared her of any wrongdoing, closed the criminal case against her, and lifted the travel ban.
However, it took a few months for procedural formalities to be completed, so she was able to travel back to India on Wednesday.
The incident took a mental strain on Pereira for which she even took counselling, therefore she will take some time off from work and then return to acting in Bollywood.
