AED 7 billion worth of new housing projects, totaling 1,742 residential villas for residents, have been announced by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority for the West Baniyas and Al Samha regions.

The Al Samha project includes two mosques, a number of retail establishments, as well as 242 residential villas. It also includes other infrastructural developments. The project, which is being constructed on 53.4 hectares of land for a total cost of more than AED734 million, is anticipated to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
In addition to constructing eight mosques and 14 commercial spaces, the West Baniyas residential project will also create 1,500 residential villas and execute infrastructural improvements, gardens, and other public amenities and services. At a total cost of more than AED6.3 billion, the project is being constructed on a plot of land of 584.7 hectares. It is anticipated to be completed by Q2 of 2027.
“The signing of the contracts for the development of West Baniyas and Al Samha housing projects comes to implement the vision of our leadership to ensure stability and social well-being for citizens, through the development of integrated and sustainable housing communities that meet the needs of Citizens and their families,” said Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
The announcement of the new agreement follows the completion of the first and second phases of the extended Al Falah residential project, which included 899 residential villas. The total number of villas now stands at 5,756.
