American singer and songwriter Adrienne Lenker released a new EP on Mar.11 with proceeds from the EP going to the Palestine Children's Fund Relief.
The EP was released on Bandcamp and it is called 'I Won't Let Go of Your Hand' and it is a precursor to Lenker's album 'Bright Future' this month.
Lenker shared the news about the EP on her Instagram page where she said, " I can’t express how sad and angry I am about this ongoing violence towards Palestinians. The killing must stop . . . Permanent Ceasefire Now!"
Lenker is the lead singer of the Grammy-nominated group Big Thief, which supports the Palestinians' right to self-determination.
Other than the release of this song, this week the Oscars 2024 show also witnessed a lot of support for Palestinians with protests in Los Angeles delaying the ceremony, celebrities wearing the 'Artists4Ceasefire' badges, and 'The Zone of Interest' director talking about Gaza during the ceremony.
