Abu Dhabi-based non-profit organization the Sedra Foundation will help train people with disabilities for jobs in the hospitality and tourism sector.
The foundation received a fund of $250,000 for this initiative.
The Sedra Foundation is a community group that works to include people with disabilities in all areas of a community.
Sedra will train people with cognitive, learning, and developmental difficulties for employment opportunities.
Sedra has organized this initiative to help boost the self-esteem of people with disabilities.
The foundation is also creating an app that will help people with disabilities with their training and learning in their jobs.
The app will help these people learn office and social media etiquette as well as understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
The initiative will provide job coaches for people with disabilities.
The initiative will also equip them with digital skills for their jobs.
The foundation also provides training for managers and colleagues about working with disabled people.
