The Department of Tourism and Culture Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has issued new guidelines regarding the display of portraits of the UAE royal family in hotels located in Abu Dhabi. These guidelines have been communicated to the hotels through a circular.

There are strict regulations regarding the display of portraits of the UAE Royal Family in hotels throughout the UAE, and each emirate has its own specific rules. These regulations require the Sheikhs to be arranged in a specific order and restrict the use of certain images.

The Department of Tourism and Culture Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has instructed hotels to update their portraits of the Sheikhs in accordance with these regulations and in the specified order as outlined in the attachment provided.

The circular added: “We hope that you will abide by what we have mentioned to avoid the legal measures that will be taken against offenders, according to the legislation in place.”
