The Abu Dhabi Executive Council has sanctioned 144 infrastructure projects, allocating AED 66 billion across housing, education, tourism, and natural resources.

Over AED 59 billion will foster housing and public facilities, focusing on efficient allocation processes for 13,000 housing units in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.

AED 4 billion targets education and human capital, while AED 1.1 billion enhances tourism, and AED 50 million is allocated for natural resource projects. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, highlights the plan's aim to strengthen social bonds by extending developments to social spaces, including mosques, community centers, and police facilities.

Innovations in transport include eco-friendly practices with bike lanes and pedestrian walkways. Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre, emphasizes the commitment to a healthier populace through the construction and enhancement of parks, walk lanes, and recreational spaces.
