Adding Teslas to the fleet will boost the emirate's "Green Economy for Sustainable Development" project, according to Abdullah Al Marzouqi, director-general of the ITC, which is a division of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi. It will improve consumer satisfaction, lower carbon emissions, and improve energy efficiency.
“There is no doubt that this step will appeal to the public among taxi users in Abu Dhabi, as it contributes to improving the quality of services provided to them, enhances their satisfaction, and achieves high indicators of happiness for the users of those vehicles," Managing director of Arabia Taxi Transportation, Sheikh Sultan Majid Hamad Al Qasimi said.
The ITC promoted workshops, events, and interactive activities between March 8th and March 17th in several places around Abu Dhabi, including the launch of Tesla vehicles. The objective of the ITC is to increase awareness of the ITC's services while also enhancing relationships between the ITC and other societal sectors.
