Authorities have announced that 30 new occupations have been added to Abu Dhabi's freelance licence.

Abu Dhabi Business Centre (ADBC) at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development released an advisory, which shows that the 30 occupations will be from the following fields:
- Artificial intelligence (AI) development
- Designing electronic equipment, device systems and software
- Oil and natural gas field production software design
- Data classification and analysis services
- Development and innovation for computer systems and programmes
- Production models by 3D imaging
- Online players support service providers
Abu Dhabi's freelancer licence allows individuals to provide their services to organizations, institutions, and companies.
To obtain this licence, the individual must have sufficient experience in an industry or he or she must have earned an academic or professional achievement in that field.
The licence can be acquired through the TAMM app. As many as 1,013 freelancer licences were issued over the past year.
