With 126 people from five different nations on board, the third evacuation plane from conflict-stricken Sudan touched down in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. The UAE has already evacuated a total of 390 people from Sudan.

The UAE will keep the individuals who have been evacuated and give them all the support and help they require until they are returned to their home countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The ministry stated that evacuating the sick, children, the elderly, and women was a top priority.
"This is in line with the UAE's commitments to humanitarian assistance and strengthening global cooperation and solidarity,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Mofaic) in an interview with Khaleej Times.
