A photographer was able to capture a very creative and beautiful scene of the flash of lightning in the sky of Makkah Al-Mukarramah from a distance of 2000 meters above sea level from the city of Taif in western Saudi Arabia.
The image was widely spread across social media platforms, which contributed to the admiration of many for this wonderful shot, as activists described it as a light-hearted snapshot.
Photographer, and member of the Association for Culture and Arts in Taif, Abdul Qadir Al-Maliki, said, "After there was an alert about the possibility of rain in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, I went to the famous Halawani bench in Jabal Al-Hada - Al-Kur."
He added, "I kept waiting for the rain to fall, and while it was falling on Makkah Al-Mukarramah, I documented the flash of lightning that illuminated the sky of Makkah from a distance of 2,000 meters above sea level."
"The snapshot showed the Mecca Clock, which is one of the famous landmarks, as well as its mountains," he said, noting that "the shooting took three hours to capture this dazzling shot."
