Sham Muhammad Al-Bakour, the youngest champion in the Arab Reading Challenge in its sixth edition in 2022, came from Aleppo Al-Shahba, Syria, to participate in the challenge in Dubai, after winning the title of Challenge Champion in Syria, overcoming more than 61,000 participants in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The Arab Reading Challenge, in its sixth session, crowned the first-grade student, Sham Muhammad Al-Bakour, at Sobhi Dayeh School, champion at the level of the Syrian Arab Republic among 61,099 students who represented their homeland, Syria, during her first participation in the largest reading demonstration of its kind in the world in Arabic.

The victory of the student, Sham Muhammad Al-Bakour, was announced during the closing ceremony of the Arab Reading Challenge, which was held under the auspices of the Syrian Ministry of Education.

The final ceremony for the sixth Arab Reading Challenge (ARC) — which will be held in-person for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic and is scheduled on November 10 at Dubai Opera, the UAE Vice-President announced on Friday.
