Cheese offers a spectrum of flavors from mild and creamy to sharp and complex. Sometimes, it’s just right to appreciate them fully and without competition from a host of other ingredients.
Mozzarella will always be king as the base pizza cheese for its superb melt and signature elasticity.
1. Mozzarella, provolone and parmesan: The Italian infamous combination. These 3 types of cheese complement each other. Mozzarella offers fresh and creamy flavour with that perfect stretch. Provolone and parmesan on the other hand add more flavour of sharpness.
2. Mozzarella and cheddar: Again, cheddar adds an edgier taste to the neutral flavour of mozzarella.
Use smaller amounts of cheddar as it doesn’t hold up well to high heat and bake at lower temperature. You can still be generous with the mozzarella.

3. Gouda and cheddar: Mostly used in Mac and Cheese, Gouda has a rich and aromatic flavor with a caramel-like finish it can also hold on top on its own. Why not add cheddar since they’re a popular combo?
4. Monterey jack and feta: Feta, is becoming very popular it’s also a delicious contrast to jack’s mild and buttery taste. Feta carries a salty, tangy taste and its crumbly texture while Monterey jack melts well.
