The Vice-President of the UAE announced on Monday during a cabinet meeting that around 28 public schools in the UAE will be outsourced to "experienced professionals" in the private sector for three years.
The Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum tweeted, “The aim is to pass on experiences and diversify options for parents.”
The new transition of public schools outsourced to the private sector came after the approval of the Al Ajyal Schools' operational model.
The UAE national curriculum and American curriculum are combined in this model, which was introduced last year. While subjects like mathematics, physics, and others will be taught using the American curriculum, Arabic language, Islamic education, moral education, and social studies will be managed and supervised by the UAE Schools.
