21 Brands to be Presented by M7 at Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway

The upcoming Qatar Fashion United (QFU) by CR Runway fashion show, which will be held on December 16 at 974 Stadium, will launch 21 local Qatar-based brands and designers onto a worldwide scale. M7 is Qatar's epicenter for innovation and entrepreneurship in fashion, design, and technology.

This chance offers both established and up-and-coming local artists a platform to exhibit their artistic capabilities in front of a sizable global audience, aligning with M7's mission to connect creative local designers with the wider creative economy eco-system and to provide platforms for them to scale their designs internationally.

According to M7 director Maha Ghanim Al Sulaiti: "Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway is a worldwide festival of fashion, sport, and music that unites people from different cultural backgrounds, over 150 designers will participate in the multicultural display, and Qatar will be represented by 21 of them designers."

Al Sulaiti added: "As a part of the Qatar Creates offerings, it will coincide with the FIFA World Cup. We anticipate that this fashion show will highlight Qatar's talent among regional and global industry leaders since the fashion sector in Qatar has experienced rapid expansion. M7 is honored to be the organization in Qatar that supports creative talent."

Some of the most renowned and legendary names in fashion will perform on stage alongside the chosen brands. Two well-known brands from Qatar, Aliya Al Obaidly Official, and Harlienz, are among the talents there. They have joined forces to create a spectacular performance that is symbolic and one of a kind and will feature their priceless couture items. A song by Hala Al Emadi featuring vocals by Dana, a Qatari artist, will accompany the collaboration. Post Malone, Zakes, DJ Snake, Ozuna, Khaled, Nancy Ajram, and Kadim are just a few of the well-known artists who will play throughout the night.

The following are some of the brands featured on the runway: Trzi Official accessorized by Hairaat Jewellery, Lorenaa Michelle, Naila Al Thani, Aldukan, Wit Noiz accessorized by Ghada Albuainain Official, Maryam Al Darwish, Mhefhef accessorized by Kaltham’s Pavilion, By Tamader Alsultan accessorized by Ghada Albuainain Official, Drizzle accessorized by Hairaat Jewellery, Muna Saad Official, WADHA, Yasmin Mansour, 1309, WAAD Designs, and Tiiya.

H E Sheikha Mayassa Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani came up with the idea for Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, which was then overseen by CR Runway CEO Vladimir Roitfeld and selected by French editor and visionary stylist Carine Roitfeld. After CR Runway x LuisaViaRoma in Florence in 2019 and the CR Runway x AmfAR virtual show to raise awareness of COVID-19 in 2020, this will be the third edition of CR Runway.
