Under the patronage of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) launched the 14th Al Ain Book Festival. The festival is a week-long cultural celebration scheduled until November 25 across nine diverse cultural sites.
Diverse Cultural Showcase
Featuring more than 400 events and specialized programs in arts, culture, and creativity, Al Ain Book Festival's primary aim is to promote knowledge among various segments of the community. It showcases over 60,000 book titles from 150 exhibitors.
Celebrating Literary Creativity
Embracing books, arts, and different aspects of literary creativity, the festival promises to inspire a love for reading, especially among the youth, connecting them to Emirati cultural heritage.

Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of ALC, expressed the festival's commitment to fostering cultural and literary activities. It emphasizes preserving the Arabic language and its global literature.
Key Festival Locations and Activities
Events will be held at prominent sites including Al Ain Square, Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Qasr Al Muwaiji, Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa, Zayed Central Library, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Qattara Arts Centre, Al Ain Mall, Barari Mall, and Al Foah Mall. Activities range from educational sessions for youth to art exhibitions and musical performances.
Cultural Programs and Celebrations
The festival's cultural programs include seminars, discussion panels, and poetry evenings, covering diverse themes such as sustainability, youth empowerment, and innovation. It also marks special occasions like World Children's Day with dedicated sessions.
Honoring Poetic Heritage
The festival dedicates programs to renowned Al Ain poets celebrated for their sung poems, blending recitation and singing, honoring their impact on Nabati poetry and their regional influence for decades.
