Fourteen individuals were killed and several injured in the second wave of detonation of handheld communication devices in Lebanon on Wednesday, Sep. 18 after the pager blasts the day before.
Handheld communication devices exploded in various parts of Beirut and southern and eastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 14 individuals were killed and 450 individuals injured in Wednesday's attack after 12 individuals were killed and 2,750 injured in Tuesday's attacks.
The pager explosions on Tuesday were blamed on Israel by Hezbollah and Lebanese politicians. Israel has not yet commented on the attacks but the country's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said on Wednesday that the war was entering a new stage.
Hezbollah has started an investigation into how Israel sabotaged the shipment of pagers, which are used by their members.
