COP28 will host various free experiences for UAE residents at the Green Zone in Expo City Dubai.

UAE residents will be able to visit the Green Zone from Dec. 3 to Dec. 12 and they will need a pass to do so, which will provide visitors with one-time access to the Green Zone.

The Green Zone pass will be free and the programs in this zone and its pavilions will run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Tree of Life 

The Tree of Life is an AI-powered interactive digital art installation, which will be located in the Energy Hub.

The art installation is inspired by the Ghaf tree, which is native to the UAE and is well-known for thriving in harsh conditions. 

AI Data Sculpture

Nature is an AI data sculpture, created by the Refik Anadol Studio. 

The art installation will transform Al Wasl Dome into an artistic beauty, which will be based on the dataset of over 400 million publicly available visuals of water, coral, and flora.

It seems like COP28's Green Zone will be filled with various cool art installations because The Swarm is a 10-meter-long print installation. 

The Swarm is composed of origami fortune tellers made by children to showcase a sculpture of bees.

Artist Leonie Bradley has created this masterpiece, which is a collective artwork that encourages visitors to note down their nature pledges in the fortune tellers and place them back in the sculpture. 

Alessandro Martire's Concert

Italian maestro Alessandro Matrtire will host a piano concert, recreating the sounds of the elements of nature. 

The concert will take place at Al Wasl Plaza on Dec. 4.

Bright Light Burning

Bright Light Burning is a play, developed to help audiences make meaningful decisions for a sustainable future. 

The play is developed by The Theatre of Others production. 

Alya in Terraland

'Alya in Terraland' is a climate action musical, which will run from Dec. 7 to Dec. 12.

The Wake-Up Experience

The Impact Nest will host a multimedia experience titled 'The Wake-Up Experience at Al Wasl Dome on Dec. 5.

Keynote speakers will include yogi Sadhguru.

The 3D mapping show is created by MP-STUDIO.

A Musical About the Indigenous Inhabitants of Bombay

Essar Group's philanthropic arm Avid Learning will showcase a musical about the heritage of Kolis, who are the indigenous inhabitants of Mumbai.

Workshops

Emirati Arts & Culture by Al Ghadeer will host various workshops about Sadu, Khous, Telli, Pottery, and other crafts at their space in the Green Zone. 

The space will not only celebrate Emirati heritage, it will also teach local artisans to create a more stable economy. 

A Sustainable Fashion Show

Al Wasl Plaza will host a fashion show on Dec. 6, where various notable fashion houses will present sustainable clothing collections. 

This show will be the first-ever fashion show at COP!
