Al Ain Sets World Record for Longest Fireworks Chain

Al Ain City stole the spotlight during the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations on December 2, 2024, by creating the world's longest chain of fireworks. Stretching an impressive 11.1 kilometers, the display secured a Guinness World Record and marked the Al Ain City Municipality’s second major achievement this year. Earlier in February, the municipality earned recognition for assembling the largest bouquet of flowers.

Ras Al Khaimah’s Double Victory in 2024  

Starting the year with a bang, Ras Al Khaimah claimed two Guinness World Records during its New Year’s Eve celebrations on January 1, 2024. The emirate wowed spectators with an eight-minute firework and drone show, achieving records for the "Longest chain of aquatic floating fireworks" at 5.8 kilometers and the "Longest straight-line drone display," which spanned 2 kilometers.

Continuing a Tradition of Excellence  

This isn’t Ras Al Khaimah’s first triumph. In 2023, the emirate earned global attention with a 12-minute pyro-musical spectacle, setting records for the "Largest number of operated multi-rotors/drones with a simultaneous fireworks display" and the "Largest aerial sentence formed by multi-rotors/drones," using 673 drones.  

These awe-inspiring achievements underline the UAE's passion for setting global standards in innovation and celebration, making every event unforgettable.
