Akon is Coming to Abu Dhabi This December

Grammy-nominated R&B star Akon is set to perform in Abu Dhabi this December, ahead of Christmas.

The rapper will perform at the World Tennis League on Saturday, Dec. 21 at Abu Dhabi's Etihad Arena. 

Tickets will be released soon, so fans can pre-register at Platinumlist.com to find out when the tickets go on sale.

Akon, a Senegalese-American singer, songwriter, and producer, rose to fame in the mid-2000s with hit singles like "Locked Up" and "Smack That."

Known for blending hip-hop with R&B and his distinct, smooth voice, Akon has not only dominated the charts but also contributed significantly to global music, collaborating with major artists like Eminem and David Guetta.
